Good game, a little hard though
Noooo, the squishies! The music makes me even sadder for squishing the squishies (is that even a thing? lol). Good game, but the display was way too big for my monitor. And it would be nice to have an up and down button for the basket. As well as being able to click once to dump all the squishies one by one instead of clicking 50 times in a row lol.
Great game
Amazing. Very interesting idea. Great tutorials. And awesome music and art.
Great game 5/5
Game of life. Very dramatic since it has no sound at all. I get the idea. But this could have been so much more.
Its a good game although I am gonna say. As mentioned in another comment, the game starts off with a very intriguing dialogue about blood cells and whatever, then it goes silent. The music is great, great atmosphere and visuals. But, the controls are kinda cranky, specially when it comes to jumping. And I noticed that after splitting, they both face a different direction, so that when jumping off of herself you will intuitively jump in the wrong direction since you already started walking in the other direction. Its not much but its enough to break the immersion in the experience and I personally found it very infuriating. Besides that, the game itself is good. I think the splitting mechanic is fun to play around with, although it can be a little mind boggling in the beginning. To end my rant (sorry for that) I think the game needs some more polishing.
edit: Its hard to tell because people are different, but I prefer the intuitive approach. Anyway good job, its nice that there was a learning moment. Most times in production you wish you could go back and fix a fundamental issue but its too late, just gotta take notice and do better on the next game!
The stacked jump direction was a really hard call to make. For most of the game's development the Emily on top would jump in the opposite direction of the bottom's movement, matching your initial intuition. However a lot of my playtesters didn't have that intuition and got frustrated, so I switched to the current system. I'm not sure if I made the right call.
Nice platform shooter, however I am gonna say that the game doesnt feel like it has any progression. Although its still just a prototype, it felt like doing the same puzzles over and over. Music got kinda repetitive as well.
Yeah im sorry about that but im making some serious changes that should improve level design. Expect an update in a couple of weeks. thank you :)
